The Championships will take place on the 5th and 7th floors of the Palais des Congrès de Montréal (Montreal Convention Centre), whose official address is:
1001 Pl. Jean-Paul-Riopelle, Montreal QC, H2Z 1H5
If walking from Hotel Dauphin/Hotel Monville/Holiday Inn/DoubleTree etc. or taking a taxi/Uber/driving to/from the venue, you will want to be dropped off at Entrance 201, which is closest to the registration/admissions area (Hall Viger on Level 2). That address is: 201 Avenue Viger West/Ouest. There will be staff at the Information Desk in that area from 7am to assist with directing you where to go, and calling taxis when it's time to leave the premises.
If walking from the Westin/InterContinental/Embassy Suites/SpringHill hotels, use Entrance 301 on Rue Saint-Antoine Ouest, and follow the crowd to Hall Viger on Level 2. See the Venue Access Map posted below to help visualize what is referenced above.
If looking to access the venue very early in the morning for tanning, hair and makeup appointments, you can only access the building via Entrance 159 (opposite Embassy Suites) on Rue Saint-Antoine Ouest. The main doors will open at 5:30am (subject to change without notice) but access to the competition area will not commence until 7:00am.
Download the Venue Floor Plan below for further details of the venue, and where to find everything (the competition stages, the practice areas, the vendor room, the costumer re-sale room, the tanning room etc.), so you can plan accordingly.
Proof of vaccination and capacity limits were lifted by the Quebec government in mid-March, so there are no plans (at present) to limit the number of spectators.
Dancing in any areas of the venue is at the risk of the persons using the space, and neither the NAIDC 2022 host committee, nor the staff of the associated venue will undertake responsibility or liability for any issues which may arise.
Note: "Rue" means Street, and "Ouest" means West.
